Illumination: A Night of Performance and Visual Art to Benefit the Children of Africa

Illumination is a unique, performing and visual arts benefit event sponsored by Flood Church in partnership with Children of the Nations. This artistic showcase will celebrate the sponsorship of 200 African children through Flood’s “In HIS Image” initiative, with the goal of raising $15,000 to build a children's home in Northern Uganda.

San Diego, CA, November 9, 2009 - Illumination, a unique performing and visual arts event to benefit the children of Africa, is coming to downtown San Diego on November 21, 2009. The event will showcase inspired art that illuminates truths about the world. Revealed through a variety of mediums, the artistic pieces will include photography, painting, sculpture, dance, musical performance, and spoken word.

Illumination is a benefit show sponsored by Flood Church (diveintoflood.com) in partnership with Children of the Nations (cotni.org) to celebrate the sponsorship of 200 African children through Flood’s “In HIS Image” campaign, and to raise $15,000 to build a children's home in Northern Uganda. Offering life and light to the children of Africa, event guests should come prepared to give and to experience profound performances and artwork.

There will be opportunities to give monetary donations throughout the evening and to participate in drawings to win travel, spa, sports packages and more. All donations exceeding ticket purchases will be tax deductible.

Illumination is Saturday evening, November 21st, in downtown San Diego at 335 6th Ave at the Culy Warehouse. Admission is $20 presale, or $25 at the door. For more information or to purchase pre-sale tickets online visit www.IlluminationSD.com. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm.
